Walk along Glen Douglas

- Saturday 14th July 2012

Our small band of intrepid explorers were blessed with some fine weather on our walk into Glen Douglas on Loch Lomondside.  We started the day with tea and coffee before walking into the glen for a round trip of around 8 miles during which we enjoyed some tremendous views, sitting down with our packed lunches watching the highland cattle and sheep watching us! Returning in warm sunshine to the Inverbeg Inn, we enjoyed some food, refreshments and most of all each other’s company before heading home. Thanks to all involved and looking forward our next walk in the near future, Joe Agnew

24/7 Prayer - Holy Week 2012

We pretty much did it - the 168 hours - with lots of help from other churches.  The prayer room was a lovely, peaceful environment, God’s presence was experienced, many tears were shed as worship and requests were poured out to our Heavenly Father in the strong Name of Jesus.  Many sins, burdens and heartaches were written on ribbons and left at the cross.  Loved ones, families, churches, East Kilbride, Scotland, Planet Earth, all were lifted up in prayer.  What will we see as Our Father responds?
